Finance Committee

Principal Committee Activities:

The purpose of the Finance Committee is to oversee the total financial life of the congregation.

Responsibilities include:

1. Stewardship
2. Prepare the challenge budget and operating budget.
3. Oversee treasurer function.
4. Oversee capital campaigns.
5. Receive reports from Endowment Trust Fund Board.
6. Oversee the disbursement of budgeted items.
7. Maintain insurance coverage based on Property Committee inputs.
8. Invest excess church funds.
9. Oversee the counting and recording of all offerings.
